dc.description.abstract Israel and UAE have normalised their relations with each other in 2020 amid the pandemic situation that had affected almost every state in the world. For decades there were secret relations among these two states that have now been formalized in the form of Abraham accords. This has brought a huge change in the region of Middle East. The previous treaties with Egypt and Jordan with Israel were of a specific nature while the Abraham accords were rather different in nature. Iran considers it as a huge impact to their regional interests as the cooperation among UAE and Israel will contain the Iranian influence to a huge extent. Israel has a very strong military in terms of technology and this will allow Israel to have an economic as well as a strategic partner in the region of Middle East, a region where Israel felt alone against all the Arab states and Iran who could confront Israel at any point in time because of the issue of Palestine. US interests in the region would be secured now as the number of allies in this region has increased greatly. The strategic goals of Israel and the economic as well as strategic goals of UAE would be achieved through these accords. The regional complex theory model explains that why cooperation among these states will strengthen the bond because of security cooperation to secure the region and ensure their survival. The Palestinian cause has been hit with these accords too. UAE’s position is that they did so in order to secure Palestine and stop Israel from the annexation of the West bank. en_US
