dc.description.abstract Using online learning materials in an e-learning system has become a big concern for many institutions during the COVID-19 epidemic. The online educational system is an essential source of information because of its universality (accessible anywhere at any time), low cost, ease of use, and interactive character. The goal of this study is to see how technostress affects employee work engagement, with workload as a mediator factor and computer self-efficacy as a moderator. Three universities of twin cities were selected for data gathering including Bahria university, Islamic International university, and Fatima Jinnah University. Faculty members and academicians of universities were given a five-point Likert Scale questionnaire to record their responses. The data were analysed through SPSS. The results of the findings revealed that professional faced technostress creators during shift of traditional education to online system. Technostress increase workload and ability of computer self-efficacy helped them to handle the situation. But Professionals are much engaged in their teaching professional. Our results tell us that there is no impact of workload on work engagement. en_US
