dc.description.abstract An environment where men and women are treated unequally at work may breed sexual harassment. Due to a hostile work environment, women are unable to rise to the top in many industries and professions. In Pakistani society, which is characterized by patriarchy and gender segregation, harassment and sexual assault at work are two of the most common forms of gender-based violence. Physical and verbal abuse, mental torment, and threats are among the most common forms of harassment. Due to the fear of losing their careers, women are often unwilling to report domestic abuse. According to the conclusions of this survey, the 2010 Protection Against Harassment at Workplace Act was not known by the majority of nurses and other healthcare employees. (PHWWAT). Female dissatisfaction at work and high turnover intention are two of the study's results. Because of Pakistan's patriarchal traditions, it may be difficult to disclose cases of sexual harassment, according to this research. en_US
