dc.description.abstract | In modern era software plays an important role in all aspects of life. Software development processes are still facing different types of problems. During the organizational development processes, effective approaches play an important role in achieving goals. The agile methodology is a new method recently introduced as a new development method in software industry to maximize the efficiency and productivity of the software development process compared to conventional methods. Although, implementation of this approach is still a dream and extensive research in this field is required in academic circles. The purpose of this research is to contribute to the success of agile software development methodology in terms of organization, people, process, technology size quality, time and cost. In this study survey is conducted to investigate significant factors of agile software development methodology using the quantitative approach. After doing literature review critical value optimization factors for agile methodology are introduced which are cost, time and scope. In order to gather the required data a questionnaire has been circulated among the employees of some well-known software development companies which are following agile methodology. This study will provide staff feedback and their analysis about the various factors associated with the agile lifecycle. Various analysis are performed on the basis of these observations to calculate the success factors related to the agile lifecycle. | en_US |
