dc.description.abstract This study highlights the issues faced by transgender community at workplace and problems faced by them in exploring respectable earning opportunities. Transgenders do not have enough opportunities to acquire education and to secure respectable jobs because they are subjected to harassment and discrimination in our community. Pakistan is the second largest Islamic state and Islam has given equal rights to all human beings but we people of Pakistan discriminate and harass the transgender community from birth to death transgenders are harassed discriminated and abused on daily basis According to 6th population and housing census 2017 there are 10,418 transgenders in Pakistan which is 0.24% of the total population despite being lesser in number They lack the basic facilities, education health and shelter transgenders are not treated as normal being although many laws are passed to protect them but laws are not practiced and there is no council or institution to implement the laws transgenders are bound to live miserable life. there are no enough earning opportunities for transgenders and hence they are forced to do the job of dancing at festivals even if they don't want to they are forced to opt prostitution even if they don't want to because they're just labeled with these professions and these professions are allotted to them by the society they cannot go for other professions because society does not give them enough opportunities and privilege and if they try to escape the bubble made by society around them they are not accepted. Transgenders usually live in communities away from cities because they are not allowed in cities no one want a transgender in their neighborhood. Transgenders can play a very important role in development of the country but they are not given enough opportunities or the chances to show themselves. Being born as transgenders is not their choice it was decision of nature and being transgender is not a sin. en_US
