dc.description.abstract The study intends to examine the side effects of technology on human health, environment and the ways in which it eventually hinders the process of the development by considering the HDI index of development. There is sufficient knowledge regarding the negative impacts of technology on human health and environment however, there is a lack of information regarding how these negative human health and poor environment hinders the process of development. That has been the achievement of our study since it explored the ways in development is hindered through the impacts of technology on human health and environment. The Qualitative study has been carried out to get the view point of doctors, environmentalists and developmentalists regarding the impacts of technology on human health, environment and the development. A lot of work is required to be done at policy making level, and for the implementation and accountability of these policies for a proper usage of technology and for reducing the negative impacts of technology to ensure development at individual, national and international level. There is also a need of research regarding the impact of poor health and environment on the process of the development due to technology so a better understanding of all the stakeholders regarding policy making can be done. The research study will be valuable in giving an insight on how technology is being a threat to the development of developing countries instead of being a source of development by affecting human health and environment negatively. Furthermore, the study hopes to provide with the solutions from the viewpoint of specialists that how can these negative impacts of technology on human health, environment and development can be reduced. It will also be useful in contributing to the literature of hol poor health and poor environment as a result of technology usage can slow down the process of development. en_US
