dc.description.abstract Malnutrition has always remained as one of the most common issues during the pregnancy all across the districts of Pakistan and been rising more especially in the urban areas rather than rural areas of Pakistan due to the high inflation. The inflation has become a major barrier for the urban people to consume a balance amount of the nutrients that are needed during the pregnancy for a better mother and child growth throughout. The mental health sums up a lot of things as it is one of the primary needs of an individual for a better and healthy life. Mental health also depends on the hormonal changes being developed in a woman, personal life related issues as in pregnancy a mother goes through a lot of changes and developments and thinks critically over anything which somehow effects the mental health not just in the women of rural areas as well as urban areas. So many of the studies has still not given out a sufficient collective picture of the malnutrition and mental health during the pregnancy in Pakistan. Therefore, we tend to do a primary review on the afflictions of malnutrition during the pregnancy as well looking over the mental health of the mother with relation of malnutrition in them. en_US
