dc.description.abstract | Liquefied Petroleum Gas-(LPG) is the prominent fuel source, because it is greener than charcoal and firewood particularly in metropolitan areas. Leakage of gas is the serious matter in manufacturing industries as well as in residential areas because it leads to fire. Due to the extreme number of mishaps of leakage of gas, home security seems to have become a serious concern. With ateliers, residential areas, and vehicles such as compressed natural gas (CNG), buses, and cars that run on gas power, gas leakage is a major concern. Deploying a gas leakage detecting kit in hazardous areas is one of the preventive techniques for preventing accidents caused by gas leaks. The purpose of this project is to present a design for a gas-leakage detection and fire-alarm system kit that can detect, alarm, and control gas leakage and fire automatically. The proposed system also features an IoT (Internet of Things) and GSM-technology for user alerting system which shows the real time temperature and concentration of gas on mobile phone application and also warns the user by sending SMS and call. | en_US |
