dc.description.abstract | Plastic waste is polluting the environment and is affecting the health of people badly. It has been eating the economy as white elephant, especially because of too much waste. Keeping in view the scenario waste plastic is effectively utilized by transforming it into bricks. Large bulk of plastic was brought at warehouse. The polythene bags are cleaned and mixed with sand at a particular temperature in order to obtain plastic bricks. The plastic bricks made are cheap in amount as compared to the other bricks. The brick is tested with water absorption technique to confirm its durability. As plastic is available in surplus amount and was polluting the environment, these plastic bricks project was carried out to build small towns, sitting areas, parking lots, vegetable markets. Biologically the decomposing of plastic is not possible so the amount of plastic waste bottle in our surrounding is increasing day by day which causes pollution. The company main focus is to utilize the waste plastic bottles specially to find an alternative so that the waste plastic is converted into bricks via sand. In this way the aim is to create a plant for the manufacturing of bricks that will be cheap and is affordable by every lay man. The plastic bottles are more convenient than conventional bricks, as revealed by a few studies. In future our company will make a fuel from waste plastic bottles. | en_US |
