dc.description.abstract This study aims to evaluate the impact of workplace ostracism on knowledge sharing and knowledge hiding in service organizations of Pakistan. This study would be evaluating the impacts of WO on KS and KH simultaneously, in context of service sector of Pakistan. The statistical population of this research includes the employees working service organizations in different cities of Pakistan. The study is empirical in nature and data would be treated on the basis of quantitative techniques. Questionnaires were distributed in the service organizations of Pakistan. The service organizations include different hospitals, universities, banks, insurance companies, restaurants, hotels and beauty salons etc. The data would be collected from 306 individuals and it would then be analysed using the SPSS software. However, convenience sampling is done in this regard. The main reason of doing convenience sampling is that it is an easy and convenient sampling technique in which only those individuals are chosen who belong to service sector and are conveniently available to the researcher. The empirical results suggest that WO has a direct and positive relationship with KH and negative and inverse relationship with KS. Two hypotheses were developed by the researcher. The hypotheses were accepted. en_US
