Abstract:
This study has focused mainly on investigating the relationship between green HRM practices and employee retention. This study has considered green recruitment & selection, green training, green performance management, and green pay & reward as independent variables. Whereas, employee retention has been considered as the dependent variable in this study. However, this study has finalized NGO sector of Islamabad, Pakistan to testify the relationship between variables mentioned above. To prove the relationship between variables, a survey has been conducted through an adopted structured questionnaire regarding this literature, in which employees working in NGO sector of Islamabad, have been requested to share their experiences by filling the questionnaires. Then, to identify the results on data gathered from the respondents, statistical instruments have been used. Some of the statistical instruments used in this study includes descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, etc. Results derived through statistical instruments have shown that there exists a significant positive relationship between green recruitment & selection, green training, green performance management, and green pay & reward (independent variables) and employee retention (dependent variable) in NGO sector of Islamabad, Pakistan. Conclusively, it has been proved that green HRM practices positively impacts employee retention in NGO sector of Islamabad, Pakistan.
