Abstract:
Purpose: This research is about examining the impact of transformational leadership and
organizational culture on the general office personnel’s performance in different
organizations operating in Karachi.
Methodology & Design: This study is established on quantitative technique and the data is
collected via questionnaire circulated among different public, private and joint sector
employees. The data has been gathered from 400 office going personnel of different
organizations via survey forms. The data analysis is done through regression analysis.
Findings: The results ofthis research are that transformational leadership and organizational
culture has a significant impact on employee performance and the p value of both
independent variables is not more than 0.05.
Limitations: This research is conducted on the employees situated in Karachi city only.
There could be several other factors that may impact employee performance, but this study
has primarily limited its focus only on transformational leadership and organizational culture
in present context. Furthermore, this research is a quantitative piece ofwork which is entirely
based on questionnaire method to collect data.
Recommendations: It is suggested to the managers and leaders to embrace transformational
leadership style. According to this study, transformational leadership helps improve the
performance of employees and has a constructive and meaningful impact on the employee
performance. Furthermore, organization are recommended to create a positive culture which
could breed cohesiveness and coherence because it impacts employee performance directly.
