| dc.description.abstract | PURPOSE: Main purpose of this study is to analyse and understand the strength of mediating role of Organizational Citizenship Behaviour between Workplace Spirituality and Job Performance. It also goes on to study the moderating effect of Organizational Commitment between Organizational Citizenship Behaviour and Job Performance. DESIGN/METHODOLOGY: The study used survey questionnaires to gather primary data. This data was analysed using statistical tools through regression analysis to test the hypotheses of the study. FINDINGS: Workplace Spirituality has positive impact on Job Performance. Organization Citizenship Behaviour positively mediates between Workplace Spirituality and Job Performance and has significant impact on the Job Performance of employees. Moreover, the study goes on to prove positive moderating role of Organizational Commitment between Organization Citizenship Behaviour and Job Performance. IMPLICATIONS: The study is extension of previous researches and goes on to prove the significance of Workplace Spirituality in enhancing Job Performance. It furthers the previous researches’ claim about positive mediating role of Organization Citizenship Behaviour between Workplace Spirituality and Job Performance. Managers can inculcate Workplace Spirituality and Organization Citizenship Behaviour in their organizations to improve the competence and organizational effectiveness. Organizational Commitment’s contingent role is also found out to be significant in enhancing Job Performance, which can be instilled in the employees by managers when they have the understanding of the concept and they implement such mechanisms that can assist them in their endeavors in this direction. | en_US |
