dc.description.abstract Now a days, in this competitive environment Organizations try to maintain competitive edge over market rivals to grab major market share. In this regard employee retention is one of the most important component which most of the organizations are focusing through workplace culture and organizational norms. They have to create a work environment where people enjoy what they do, feel like they have a purpose, have pride in what they do, and can reach their potential. The study aimed to assess the impact of workplace design on employees’ performance in the hospitality industry of Pakistan. For the purpose of this study, explanatory research design was used. Simple random sampling technique was respectively used to select the respondents for the study. Respondents for this study were managerial staff of hotel industry of Pakistan. Structured questionnaires were used for data collection. The study findings specify that, organization working environment had an impact on members as far as respondents are concerned. The study also uncovered the fact that employees’ will improve their performance if the workplace design will be conducive to the tasks they perform at organizations. The factors of workplace design are Building space, noise , lighting, Interior Design , temperature and Ventilation. These factors improve working behaviours in the organization. In conclusion based on the findings the study recommended that, the organization needs to have better workplace designs and for future researchers there are many sectors that are yet to be explored such as banking, Educational and the negative impacts of workplace design on the workers. en_US
