Abstract:
This study has attempted to look at the relationship between Human Resource Development (HRD) factors & career growth as determinants of turnover intention by using organizational commitment as a mediator in the companies of telecom sector in Pakistan. This study has taken HRD factors and Career Growth as independent variables and Turnover Intention as a dependent variable and Organizational Commitment as a mediator. Telecom sector of Pakistan has been selected as the industry to test the relationship between variables of the study. Structured questionnaire has been used for the research as an instrument for the collection of data from the respondents (employees that are working in telecom sector companies in Pakistan). A sample of 200 employees was selected for this study. Questionnaire was distributed among the employees of different telecom companies working in Pakistan in order to gather the data. . Collected data then been analyzed through the statistical instruments like correlation and the regression through using SPSS Software. Based on findings of this research, it has concluded that a relationship exists among HRD factors (independent variable), Career Growth (independent variable), organizational commitment (mediating variable) and Turnover Intention (dependent variable) in telecom sector companies of Pakistan.
