Abstract:
Purpose: The purpose of this study is to look at the links between the SCOR model and the moderating
impacts of customer facing supply chain performance and internal facing performance ofthe company.
Methodology & Design: This research study is based on sample questionnaire answers from 350 workers
of ecommerce companies. For data analysis, the structural equation modelling technique based on partial
least squares is utilized.
Findings: The results shows that individually, each decision area has a positive impacts on both customer
facing supply chain quality performance and internal facing firm level business performance.
Collectively, ‘Make, Source, Deliver and Return are more important to the both customer-facing supply
chain performance and internal facing firm level business performance. While the Plan has more
positively effects on the customer facing supply chain quality performance.
Limitations: The scope of this research is confined to the ecommerce business in Karachi, and it was
difficult to do research in Covid-19. Only a questionnaire was used to collect data for this quantitative
study.
Recommendations: SCOR model have an areas which over all covering the supply chain of any
company and also plays an important part in ecommerce firms in order to satisfy the customer needs and
also effects on the business internal performance.
