dc.description.abstract Human resource needs are the most valuable resource in every organization and they contribute immensely to organizations the world over. It is therefore imperative for organizations to institute appropriate measures for commitment of employees in every situation. Effective human resource management practices can help organizations to commit their valued employees. Working from home employees in Pakistan particularly suffers the risk of doubled responsibilities due to intensive competition. This research project study examined the effects of work from home practices either it has doubled the responsibilities or it has created an ease for them. Specifically, it looked at how Recruitment & Selection, Training & Development, Promotion Practices and performance appraisal impact on work life balance which as a result we find that is responsibilities are doubled for employees or created an ease for them. The research project study also sought to examine the moderating effects work from home of job satisfaction on the relationship between human resource management practices and employee work life balance. Prestige international and other organization were included in the sample. Random sampling was used to select a sample size of 133 employees from the various organization and prestige international were collected. Percentages were collected to test how well working from home practices could predict employee work life balance. The findings of this research project study highlight the fact that human resource management practices such as recruitment and selection, training and development, promotion practices and performance appraisal are vital to employees and indeed influence employee work life balance that results that weather responsibilities are doubled or created an ease for them. en_US
