Smart Safety Band

Abstract

Now a days we have seen many women, young girls and mothers disappearing and facing physical and sexual harassment from public places, streets and public transport. Many cases are being filed on a regular basis on issues such as kidnapping, harassments or assaults and these crimes are increasing day by day. In order to stop these crimes, we designed an embedded system for women safety based on Smart band, basically a wearable minicomputer in the form of a wristwatch or wristband to protect the women or children in any panic situation. Smart band provides touch screen interface, this smart band has many potential capabilities, like message notifications, GPS navigation and calendar synchronization. And of course, a GSM module in it, which helps you to call or send messages to the guardian and police about the user location. This wireless device is convenient and can be activated by the victim on being harassed by the click of a push button. if push button is not pressed then I can be activated by fall detection sensor, motion detection sensor or heart rate sensor so, the main purpose of our project is to ensure public safety in the emergency situation. Women safety has become a major issue as they cannot step out of their house at any given time due to physical abuse and fear of violence so, finally our project is very use full of the women and children’s.
