dc.description.abstract | The AC induction motors is an electrical device which is used to transform electrical energy into mechanical energy. Therefore, about two third of the electrical energy is nourished to motors. So, energy management for motors is the major limit. And this energy management is accomplished by by means of variable frequency drive (VFD) at some amount. A variable frequency drive (VFD) is a changeable speed drive secondhand in electro-mechanical arrangements to control the speed and torque by changing voltage and frequency of the AC motor. VFD controls the variable load connected to the motor which mains to the best act and high productivity of the motor. It supports to minimize electrical consumption of motor by the help of minimizing the energy they consume. The VFD act as a smooth start for the motor and energy management in several applications. A major matter that Pakistan has the lack of electricity. In this situation, energy should be used in a wise manner. As a product, the application of VFD benefits in reducing a major amount of energy by minimizing the jerks suddenly happens when motor gets started. | en_US |
