dc.description.abstract Reutilization of the energy is emerging area of research where RF energy harvesting is seen as a potential for recharging low power devices from the EM waves that are readily available in the environment. Therefore, in this project, we aim to develop and design a cost effective and an efficient RF Energy Harvester that can be used to charge the low power devices. The devices require a very low energy therefore they can be easily charged using this Energy Harvester. The major advantage of the system that we propose is its sustainability and the ease of complexity. We can harvest energy from the nearby base stations and charge low power devices. Our system consists of many modules such as Software Defined Radio, Antenna, Matching Circuit and the Rectifier all designed on a substrate RT Duroid 5870. We wish to harvest power ranging from 2.5 uW to 0.1 W from our proposed system. The software aspects of this system involves the use of Advance Design System (ADS) which is used throughout our project. We wish to create a new innovation in the field of Communication by providing a formidable solution in the field of RF Energy Harvesting. en_US
