dc.description.abstract Since 2019 the world is facing a global pandemic called Covid-19 affecting almost every sector. The purpose of this project is to enhance the safety of doctors and health workers tackling this situation. The purpose of this project is to build an autonomous robot that will assist the medical staff in the fight against this deadly virus. Taking the aid of technology, we introduce smart automated nursing assistant robot that is smart enough to maneuver itself in the messy ward situations it will deliver medicines to the patient who are kept in isolation wards, the robot minimizes the interaction between the medical health worker and the patients. The robot will be smart enough to take the medicine at specific time and give them to the patient. RFID tags are used to ensure that the correct medicine are being delivered to the respective patient. We are integrating our modules with Arduino. The robot is also integrated with cameras for the surveillance of the medicine being delivered and so that the doctor can keep an eye on the condition or vitals of the patients. We have worked on the robot interaction and maneuvering in smart and efficient way. The robot is mounted with a controller integrated with a camera capable of processing a 60fps which ensure swift navigation of robot and fast decision making. The project caters the current need of medical institutions thus can ensure flexible working hours for their staff. The most effective way to fight from this virus is to prevent from it and it ensures that. The robot covers all the areas from correct medicine delivery to supervised surveillance. By making this robot we are doing our small part in the betterment of our society. This will be one more small step towards automation and towards a new world. en_US
