dc.description.abstract The purpose of this research is to examine the financial viability of knowledge sharing and intellectual capital on finn perfonnance. This was a blend of qualitative as well as quantitative research. In quantitative research approach was survey techniques while qualitative method 4 focused on conducting experiments, ethnographic studies and grounded theory was applied. Almost 160 questionnaires were distributed as per quantitative design among 17 banks at the ratio of l 0 respondents from each bank that was in proximity and easy to handle. The primary and secondary data collection methods have been used to collect responses. This study used primary data as the responses and visited these banks situated in Mirpur. The knowledge sharing variable can be a mediator in the relationship between intellectual capital and performance, and social capital has a significant positive effect on innovation, but i1movation does not have a positive effect on marketing perfonnance and knowledge sharing. Two independent variables of the study have been mentioned: Knowledge Sharing (KS) and intellectual Capital (IC), the model of research study is finn performance = f (intellectual capital, knowledge sharing). As this research is based on tests, few tests were conducted by the researcher in order to obtain results to check whether knowledge sharing and intellectual capital is causing effects on financial viability of firm perfonnance. en_US
