Abstract:
Purpose:
The purpose of this study is to analyze the resource sharing between two educational
institutes (Bahria University & PN School of Logistics) including visibility and performance
and to provide recommendations for additional effectiveness in future.
Methodology & Design:
In this research deductive research approach is used because this study is not proposing any
theory but focusing on hypothesis testing. Moreover, study is quantitative in nature and
with respect to objectives, study is explanatory and with respect to the application this study
is applied research. Data were collected from
new
sample of 307 respondents through a
questionnaire. Data were analyzed and hypotheses were tested with the help of Correlation
and Regression analysis tools, using SPSS version 26 software.
Findings:
The findings indicate that there exists a moderate and positive correlation between visibility
and performance whereas there exists a weak yet positive correlation between visibility and
resource sharing and resource sharing toward performance. Overall all hypotheses
accepted and display positive impact as a whole.
are
Implications:
There exists significant visibility which helps to enhance the performance of Bahria
University and PN School of logistics. However, resource sharing should be made more
effective and transparent. For the future investigations, Covid must be considered as
mediating variable affecting resource sharing since lock down implications have affected the
educational sector heavily. The limitations of the study are noted and hypothesis regarding
visibility and resource sharing is advised to be revisited vis-a-vis educational supply chains.
