| dc.description.abstract | Purpose This study have been conducted to study the relationship between factors affecting adoption of green procurement and its relationship with the elements of a firm performance. Methodology & Design A survey was conducted using a questionnaire and gathered data was analyzed through PLS Smart and results for the hypothesis generated as the result of literature review were checked for the relationship among them. Findings All the hypothesis were accepted that means that factors chosen for the study have a positive relationship with the level of implementation of green procurement and also green procurement can be positively correlated with the elements of a firm’s performance. Limitations Time for the study was limited and the global pandemic also effected the data gathering efforts. Financial resources were also not available to give incentive to respondents to gather good quality data for the study. Recommendations Several recommendations were made on the basis of the results obtained including hiring of managers having environmental orientation, making strong regulations, setting benchmarks in different sector to encourage competitors, educating customers to demand green products | en_US |
