Abstract:
Training has a very important role in an individual’s life and for a working professional it is
indispensable. Every organization wants that its employees show their productivity at
maximum
Purpose:
The purpose ofthis research is to know the impact ofjob training, career development training
and orientation training on employee performance.
Methodology & Design
This is a quantitative research based on the method of explanatory research. The population
were the employees of Karachi region, total 387 respondents have participated in this study.
The statistical analysis was held through the SPSS software, and Multiple Linear Regression
tool was used for the data analysis.
Findings
The findings ofthe study shows thatJob training, Career development training and Orientation
training has an impact on employee performance. Most ofthe respondents acknowledge this
impact and agrees to that the performance of employees could be enhanced after these
trainings.
Limitations
This study is limited to the geographic area of Karachi. Also, only four variables Employee
performance, Job training, Career development training and Orientation training were under
consideration.
Recommendations
As the outcomes ofthis study shows the positive impact oftraining on employees so it is highly
recommended that companies and organizations must plan and schedule these trainings for
employees and further research must be conducted on specific sectors like industries,
educational institutions etc. so the current situation can also be enlightened
