dc.description.abstract Banks play an important role in the economy of every country. Investors always show interest in ‘making investments with banks. In today’s world, there is a competition between conventional and Islamic banks. This study is focused on comparing the performance of conventional and Islamic banks. For this purpose 5 Islamic and conventional banks were selected and a ratio analysis was done. The results have shown that Islamic banks are performing better than conventional banks. Furthermore, this project has shown the importance of banks in the economic growth of the country. en_US
