Abstract:
Purpose:
This study is about finding the matter that causes the people refrain from deciding what career
is best for them and in which they can flourish the maximum. When they take wrong decisions
on choosing their subject and job career, later on, their life they stuck on further progress and
then goes on switching or left theirjobs and that causes them to stand nowhere.
Methodology/sample:
The non-probability technique of sampling distribution is used to sample the population.
Convenience sampling was selected as the best technique to sample the population for
research. The sample size is of around 384 students is used in this study. Soft versions of
questionnaires are circulated to students and data processing is performed using Google form
survey.

Findings:
From the findings, it is revealed that opportunity available in the labor market effects directly
on the choice decision making among undergraduate students. When there are increased
opportunities available, they will work more to get the best one. Peer influence of an individual
also demonstrates which career opportunity they need to opt for which career especially within
the undergraduate students. Also, the Salary packages greatly influences the career decision
making of undergraduate students. When the pay is attractive than the undergraduate students
are more likely to apply for the job. Family influence also have the strong role in the career
decision making among undergraduate students. The personal interest has a no significant
influence on the career decision making.
Implications:
The students face numerous influencing factors which are both intrinsic and extrinsic on the
career decision making. This study has an important role in Pakistan education and job
sector, for improving employee performance. Even through this study is good inventory in its
nature however with greater sample size the same proof can be made to evaluate the in depth
causes of career exploration and challenges cause by these factors
