The study here is mainly dedicated to identify and highlight the concept of e-procurement and its cascaded impacts/effects over the supply chain practices of manufacturing industry. The targeted industry is of Pakistan origin. Moreover, the data is collected from the stakeholders of same. (Independent Variables) selected are Electronic methods of (Tendering, Invoicing and Payment) which were found to have a considerable and significant impact on the supply chain practices specialized for the Manufacturing Performance (Dependent Variable). A well-structured and thought out research instrument (i.e. a Questionnaire) has been used for collection of data from respondents within this study. A few statistical instruments were also used to validate and corroborate the relationship between these variables e.g. descriptive frequencies, coefficient, reliability, regression, correlation & ANOVA, etc. Our main hypothesis was validated by the results construed via correlation & regression backed by SPSS showing quite an obvious impact those E-Procurement variables (E-Tendering, EInvoicing, and E-Payment) has on manufacturing performance. The outcomes have demonstrated evidently that E-Procurement ascertains high significance in influencing manufacturing performance within manufacturing industry of Pakistan. |
