| dc.description.abstract | The primary goal of this study was to determine the impact of purchase costs, environmental considerations, and the role of suppliers on green procurement. Methodology & Design This study relied on quantitative research, which included data collection from 299 respondents in Karachi's pharmaceutical industry. The data was collected using a questionnaire, and then the data was analyzed using SPSS to check the relationship between variables, reliability of scale, regression, and correlation. Findings The findings showed that among Karachi's pharmaceutical enterprises, purchase cost, environmental considerations, and the involvement of suppliers all have a substantial impact on green procurement. The purchase cost and supplier's involvement were determined to have a significant impact on green procurement. However, the hypothesis connected to organizations’ environmental considerations had a significant value. Spring 2021 54337/ SCM-37 vii Limitations The scope of this research was limited to Karachi's pharmaceutical industry and therefore cannot be generalized. This research was cross-sectional in nature. It was a quantitative study, and the data was collected solely through a structured questionnaire. Recommendations When incorporating green practices into a company's operations, make sure that all personnel are well-versed in environmental issues. They should also take environmental precautions not only in green buying but in every corporate function. | en_US |
