Abstract:
Logistics management is a component of retail logistics that has become a hot topic among practitioners and researchers, particularly when it comes to the ‘Last Mile' problem in the context of e-commerce. The study's overall goal was to look into the impact of logistics management methods on the operational performance of FMCG manufacturers in Pakistan's Twin Cities, specifically Nestle, Unilever, and P&G. The study's specific research objectives were to determine the logistics management practices used by focused Fast moving manufacturing companies, to determine the effect of logistics management practices on the operational performance of focused Fast moving manufacturing companies, and to determine the challenges faced by Fast moving manufacturing companies' logistics management practices. The Unified Theory of Logistics was used to guide this research. The descriptive research design was employed to clearly investigate the research issue. This method of research was chosen because it allows the researcher to collect data in order to answer questions about the status of the research subject. The study's participants were all Pakistani Fast-Moving Consumer Goods Manufacturers. Because of the Covid-19 pandemic and other constraints, this study used a convenient sampling technique. Morgan's table was used to determine the sample size of 152. The questionnaire that was used in the research was modified. For convenience of administration, this questionnaire contains closed-ended questions. The information gathered was entered into a spreadsheet and analyzed using SPSS.
