dc.description.abstract Expanding levels of rivalry in the hotel industry has made foundations to devise manners by which to stay competitive. One such path for these organizations is execution of supply chain management practices. The key concern is whether carrying out these practices really lead to competitive advantage. The fundamental target of this investigation was consequently to inspect the connection between supply chain management practices and competitive advantage among grouped hotels. The investigation utilized the essential information that was gathered using survey which was managed to supply chain department of 10 hotels in Islamabad, so total population is 3100 employees Out of these, 199 responses were gotten and taking it as sample size and doing analysis on SPSS. Analysis is done through SPSS software and linear regression, correlation analysis was done. The examination uncovered that the degree to which every one of the practices (inventory management, strategic supplier management, lean supply chain practices, and supplier development.) had been embraced inside the hotel industry differed. While the outcomes showed that lean supply chain practices, inventory management had been adjusted to a very little degree, strategic supplier management and supplier development had been received adjusted positively. In any case, none of these practices was a huge indicator of competitive advantage. The discoveries further showed that cost authority and administration separation add to hotel competitive advantage.
