dc.description.abstract The major purpose of this study is to identify the impact of capacity planning on the supply chain performance in the cement industry in Pakistan. Furthermore, to get an idea that which variables and processes are more important for the cement companies to make capacity planning for their operations. The capacity planning of operations describes the literature in many factors. In addition, for this analysis, the value of each factor is specified. Capacity planning including factors strategic capacity planning, aggregate capacity planning, strategic capacity scheduling, finite capacity planning capacity forecasting, and information sharing were used as (independent variable) while supply chain performance was used as (dependent variable), A quantitative analysis methodology for this review, and the use of questionnaire architecture to gather information. Respondents from the materials, operations, stock, logistics, and warehousing, and inventory departments have been chosen and have a direct connection to the supply chain and operations. Five cement companies have been selected. These approaches were chosen to learn more about the subject in-depth and in conjunction with the essence of the subject. en_US
