dc.description.abstract | In healthcare field, increasing adoption of Radio frequency identification devices (RFID) shows that they are valuable assets for healthcare industry. It has the capability of saving organization time and cost by allowing traceability of data in real time like identification, communication, temperature, and location. However, there are some challenges in RFID systems like financial, technical, and most importantly privacy and security. For this reason, we are focusing on introducing blockchain technology. Blockchains are digital and unchangeable records, for keeping the track of the transactions. It provides new type of explanation that is based on trust transparency and accountability. In our project, information about the medicine product is added through the blockchain based decentralized application (Dapp) based on full ethereum node, hat will be interfaced using a smart contract deployed on a blockchain network. Smart contracts and blockchain technology solve current centralized systems issues like single point of failure and lack of trust. Our software consists of front-end program that can be installed on any web server and by using this platform, you can interact with our decentralized application. We have designed our system for healthcare supply chain environment, by using a prototype which will add only those medicine assets to supply chain that are associated with RFID tag and have transaction on blockchain network. Our system is deployed in Test net environment, for determining the technical feasibility. Because of the decentralization and data integrity offered by the blockchain network, users can access medicine data using our device, making our system easily accessible and safe. | en_US |
