Abstract:
This research aims to examine the impact of 18th amendment in NFC award on health and education sector in Pakistan. This study uses 18th amendment in NFC award as independent variable. Whereas, education and healthcare spending as dependent variable to investigate the relationship between 18th amendment in NFC award and its impact on health and education sector in Pakistan. To assess the relationship, quantitative research method is used. Annual data of healthcare spending and education spending of all the four provinces of Pakistan was collected from the period of 2008 – 2019 (12 years) with the help of secondary sources (controller general of accounts website). Moreover, statistical tests (correlation and T test) have been used primarily to identify the significant difference between each year in the variables of this study. Results were drawn through statistical tests with the help of SPSS software. Based on the findings, correlation has proved that 18th amendment in NFC award has improved the government spending on health and education sector of Pakistan
