dc.description.abstract Although pakistan is among those countries having strong potential for solar power generation but the plain land and dry areas where dust , constant soiling and wind storm reduces efficiency of a solar system up-to 50%. It is essential to have regular and proper cleaning of modules. It is usually done manually but it is not so scheduled, efficient and frequent. So, for easy and uniform cleaning this issue can be resolved by a fully automated solar panel cleaner with the help of image processing based algorithm, dust detection sensors ,camera surveillance and by machine learning contribution. This system can be retrofitted directly on panels in both commercial as well as residential sectors. Our FYP intends to increase the efficiency of solar panel by removing all types of dust particles en_US
