Abstract

Capital Chemical Industries is a medium scale, industrial and decorative coatings manufacturer. Their office and production plant are based in street W-4, plot 19-20, Rawat Industrial Estate, The company’s market is mostly centred in the areas of Pakistan’s; Punjab, KPK & Kashmir region. The company has a simple supply chain with the focus on building long term supplier-client relations however no supply chain is free from problems. The company suffers from a lack of storage space to their stock being damaged during transportation, Both of these upstream and downstream supply chain problems cause the company to lose money. The project’s main focus is in eliminating such problems and making the supply chain more efficient by introducing better stock keeping techniques and using innovative solutions to solve the issues of transit
