dc.description.abstract The objective of the research work is to find out the effect of employment of selected labor intensive industries of Pakistan. For this researcher are collect the time series data set from the period from (1985-2015) and data is taken from Energy Year Books of Pakistan and Pakistan Bureau of Statistics. In our research work we use the gross output of selected intensive industries of labor like fertilizer, cement and steel is a dependent variables while the industrial capital, total labor and consumption of energy used as independent variables. We take the cobb-douglas production function to measure the impact of employment on total output of selected industries. Furthermore we check the stationary of all variables and mixture of stationary also refer to use the ARDL technique therefore we employed the ARDL technique. In case of cement industry and fertilizer industry labor force are significantly or positively affect the total output in short or long run, but in case of steel industry labor force are negatively affect the gross output. Our research work suggests that government should be more funds or budget spent on worker education because the contribution of labor forces one of the most effective indicators to increases the GDP of Pakistan en_US
