| dc.description.abstract | This study aims to assess the effect of reverse logistics on logistics management with moderating role of logistics integration in construction industry of twin cities (Rawalpindi and Islamabad) in Pakistan. This study has used recycling, repair & reuse and disposal (representing reverse logistics)as independent variables, logistics integration as moderating variable and logistics management as dependent variable. Meanwhile, construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan is the sector finalized for assessing the relationship between reverse logistics, logistics integration and logistics management. To investigate the relationship, quantitative research method is used. Primary data is collected with the help of adopted structured questionnaire based on 5 Likert scale (1 =Strongly Disagree and 5=Strongly Agree). Questionnaires were distributed amongst the supply chain members associated with construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan and 250 responses were gathered from the respondents through convenience sampling technique. Data collected from the respondents were analyzed with the help of various statistical tests (such as reliability, descriptive frequencies and statistics, correlation and regression analysis) through SPSS Software (SPSS 21). Based on the findings of regression analysis, reverse logistics (recycling, repair & reuse and disposal) positively effects logistics management. However, moderation analysis has proved the significant moderating effect of logistics integration between reverse logistics (recycling, repair & reuse and disposal) and logistics management in construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan. | en_US |
