dc.description.abstract This study investigates the relationship between barriers in green supply chain management and implication of green supply chain management in the construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan. This study has considered lack of green manufacturing, lack of green purchasing, inappropriate customer management and inappropriate supplier management (representing barriers in green supply chain management) as independent variables, and green supply chain management as dependent variables. However, the construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan has been the sector chosen to investigate the relationship between variables mentioned above. Quantitative research method was used as primary data was collected through an adoptive structured questionnaire based on 5 Likert scale. The responses were recorded from 300 respondents (supply chain members) associated with the construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan through convenience sampling techniques. Responses recorded were analyzed through statistical tests such as correlation and regression by using SPSS Software. The results indicate that lack of green manufacturing, lack of green purchasing, inappropriate customer management and inappropriate supplier management negatively impacts green supply chain management in the construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan. Furthermore, findings have revealed that increase in barriers of green supply chain management tend to decrease green supply chain management in the construction industry of twin cities in Pakistan. en_US
