Abstract:
Purpose – The core drive of this research thesis is to examine the influence of lean supply chain management and customer relationship management in advancing up the organizational productivity in textile sector of Pakistan. For increasing the productivity of textile mills, it’s important to implement lean supply chain management at the internal levels of every department. Design/methodology/approach – A quantitative research study was accompanied with the help of 300 questionnaires got filled by employees of textile mills that have transitional position in the supply chain. Self-administered questionnaires were the method for collecting data. Hypotheses were then evaluated with the help of these questionnaires. Findings –The findings show that when the lean management expands through the supply chain, in compliance with the resource dependent theory and integral, the focal firm increases productivity.
