dc.description.abstract This world as of today has been constantly evolving through technological breakthrough and new trends in the market. Organizations are evolving and constantly adopting new trends, especially in the world of supply chain. Organizations like to integrate their supply chain to reap the benefits of operational excellence. There has been a lot of different practices adopted by the organizations throughout the world and Pakistan. They like to integrate with their suppliers and also like to integrate internally departmental wise and integrate their processes throughout to have a holistic view of the organization. Organizations tend to also integrate with their customers so that to incorporate their feedback into their products and improve their customer satisfaction level, and also to have a competitive edge over their competitors. The purpose of this study is to evaluate the benefit of all these practices to the organizations working in the food sector of Pakistan. Since organizations are adopting more and more these practices of integrating with their supplier, internally and with their customers what benefits do they reap in terms of operational excellence. The operational excellence is bought about by factors of quality, time, speed, cost and flexibility. In this study we have found that the supply chain integration measures have been immensely profitable for the organizations working in the food sector of Pakistan, and massively enhanced their operational excellence. The independent variables understudy have deeply affected the operational performance of organizations working in the food sector of Pakistan positively. So it is beneficial for organizations in terms of operational excellence and also monetary terms bringing profitability to the organizations and also helping an organization through flexibility time speed cost and quality of their products en_US
