dc.description.abstract | This study aims to find out the impact of training and development and remuneration on the employee retention along with the moderating impact of organizational citizenship behavior in the telecom sector of Pakistan. Following the theory of needs, and the motivational theory, the study examined the employee retention techniques in the telecom sector. The data was collected from the telecom companies' offices, located in Rawalpindi anq Islamabad. Out of 294, the number of responding persons was 200. The study applied COITelation and direct and indirect regression to observe the impact of moderator completely. The results showed that training and development and remuneration significantly and positively impact the employee retention while remuneration proved to be insignificant when observed jointly with organizational citizenship behavior on employee retention. The future researchers are further suggested to enhance the model considering other significant factors that will help in retaining employees in organization in other sectors of Pakistan as well. | en_US |
