dc.description.abstract The most pressing worry for human resources managers is cost, as recruitment tasks frequently necessitate big budgets in order to satisfy organizational recruitment processes. So, human resource department must be efficient enough to deal with such recruitment issues and must decide how to deal with the recruitment challenge and future HR needs of the organization. In order to meet organizational goals or to look for ways to hire workers that will help them save time and money on recruitment, an effective step towards online recruitment is necessary. Online recruitment has the capacity to reach a large pool of recruits while also allowing them to establish a talent pool for future openings at a low cost. The internet can help in selection, especially when great distances are involved. The field of human resources has grown to include new and previously unknown methodologies. For a variety of reasons, businesses are migrating to an online system. Although, e-recruitment is still a myth for organizations in Pakistan, the recruitment via internet can be very effective for future prospective, especially during worldwide pandemic situation. The introduction and implementation of E-recruitment system in Pakistan Navy is necessary because a large number of population apply in different cadres of PN. A large number of candidates apply for recruitment and selection in Pakistan Navy, an approximate total of 100,000 potential candidates applies in PN for the allocated seats of 2500-3000 per year. So, to conduct the test and interviews of such a large number of candidates takes time, effort and high cost. Especially, during the surge of Corona virus (Covid-19), the recruitment and selection process in Pakistan Navy suspended for complete one year, which adversely affected the Human Recourse requirement of Pakistan Navy. So, to introduce an alternative method of recruitment, which involves less time and less cost, online recruitment method is required to be introduced in Pakistan Navy. en_US
