dc.description.abstract In the era of modern technology there is no cost-effective system is available for blind person. It is not possible for blind person to move without any other person help. They face many difficulties in their daily life. So, there is a need of cost-effective system. In this project, our aim is to develop a prototype hardware that help the blind persons to perform their usual life tasks like a normal human being without the assistance of other human. In our proposed system, the stick is embedded with raspberry pi, sensors, camera, buttons, GPS module and GSM module. Three ultrasonic sensors are used, to detect the hurdles and inform the blind person through earphone along with a vibration signal. The system is also tuned with machine learning algorithm so that the type of the object is also detected through voice. The system contained two buttons one for identification of the current location of the blind person and second button is provided to assist the blind person during emergency. When the blind person press this button, a call or message is sent to mobile numbers those are already stored in the system. This system provides an ease for blind person to move independently without any other person help. en_US
