dc.description.abstract In today’s world, organizations are moving at an extremely fast pace. Businesses come and go every single day throughout the world. This fast pace of business operations and business activity is due to the changing dynamics of business in the inner environment and the outer environment of the business. This has caused organizations to become more competitive in order to distinguish themselves from the others. As a result innovation is encouraged as a way to become more competitive. Innovation has not only brought good to the business activity but a little bit of bad as well. This study is about how people are using technology at workplaces for their personal work and how it is affecting the entire organization and the business cycle. The study examines the effects of cyberloafing at workplace in the context of five big personality models that includes neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness and conscientiousness. The report discusses what affects these five factor models bring to cyberloafing and how they are contributing to the five factor model. Due to a few limitations in conducting the research, a data of 222 respondents are compiled and worked upon. The study has targeted the corporate sector of Pakistan. The data has been collected through questionnaires distributed amongst employees of different organizations working at various positions. We used statistical software SPSS for the purpose of the analysis of our data and to conduct the tests of descriptive statistics, correlation, regression and reliability analysis. The obtained results show the relationship between the dependent variables and the independent variables. To conclude our research, suggestions and findings are included for further research. en_US
