dc.description.abstract This study examines the linkages between the sustainable human resource practices such as workload management, work force diversity and employee retention. The key elements of human resource practices were identified in one of the studies conducted in Pakistan recently where other human resource practices were kept in mind and these were ignored. Selected telecom industry of Islamabad formed part of the study sample. The reason of this research to be conducted by these variables is to see their effect on the employee retention because these are the common and worthy variables that can be undertaken for consideration while we talk about employee retention in any organization. In order to get to know the effect of these independent variables over the dependent one, we collected data from different sources, by google forms and complied them to be analyzed which has ultimately shown us the dependency of one over another. the study resulted in the positive relation of workload management and workload diversity with the employee retention. The outcome of the study is important for the industry in any field to retain the employees via improving the practices being used in an organization en_US
