Effect of E-Procurement on Supply Chain Performance in Manufacturing Sector of Pakistan

4 | P a g e ABSTRACT The objective of the study was to examine the effect of e-procurement on supply chain performance in drink firms of Pakistan. This study has considered e-tendering, e-invoicing, and payment, representing e-procurement, as independent variables. Whereas, supply chain performance has been considered as the dependent variable. Drink firms of Pakistan has been chosen to test the relationship between e-procurement and supply chain performance. Structured questionnaire based on 5 Likert scale has been the research instrument used within this study for collection of data from respondents (supply chain members associated with drink firms of Pakistan). A sample size of 200 respondents to represent the entire population has been finalized. Questionnaires were distributed amongst supply chain members of manufacturing firms of Pakistan to gather the data. Collected data was then analyzed through statistical instruments such as correlation and regression by using SPSS Software. Based on the findings, it has been concluded that e-procurement (e-tendering, e-invoicing, and e-payment) has significant effect on supply chain performance in drink firms of Pakistan.
