dc.description.abstract The purpose of this study is examine the green supply chain practices and their impact on environmental performance. The four dimensions of GSCM covered in this study are: green purchasing, green manufacturing, green logistics and green distribution. The relationship between these GSCM practices are environmental performance are tested and analyzed by questionnaire on the basis of Likert scale (five point scale) ranging from 1 strongly agree to 5 strongly disagree. The questionnaire was developed on the Google docs (digital medium) for the ease of data collection. Questionnaire was floated by the Emails and by visiting different firms. The questionnaire mainly cover five parts including green purchasing, green manufacturing, green logistics, green distribution and environmental performance. Data was collected by the experienced employees of FMCGS of Pakistan industry in Oct to Dec 2019. I visited to more than 10 standardized FMCGS in twin cities Islamabad and Rawalpindi. A total of 306 filled questionnaires were received 48 questionnaires were not usable. The data from 260 fair respondents were entered in the dataset and then analyzed (Questionnaire is attached in the appendix).All the four GSCM practices are positively related to environmental performance and contribute highly towards environmental safety and betterment. Recommendations are given at the end of the thesis based on the findings of the research en_US
