Abstract:
This study is focused mainly on identifying the impact of lean procurement on operational performance in cafés of twin cities of Pakistan. In this study, e-procurement, supplier relationship, customer relationship, cost reduction, and waste elimination has been considered as independent variables. Whereas, operational performance has been considered as the dependent variable. This study has finalized cafés of twin cities of Pakistan to testify the relationship between lean procurement and operational performance. To prove this relationship, a survey has been conducted through a structured questionnaire by involving supply chain members associated with cafés of twin cities of Pakistan, as these respondents have been requested to share their experiences by filling the structured questionnaire. Then, data analysis has been done based on collected data through various statistical instruments including descriptive frequencies, reliability, correlation, regression, ANOVA, and coefficient. Results have revealed that there exists a significant relationship between e-procurement, supplier relationship, customer relationship, cost reduction, and waste elimination (independent variables) and operational performance (dependent variable) in cafés of twin cities of Pakistan
