Abstract:
This study is based on finding the impact of supply chain management practices on the financial performance and competitive advantages of the firms. The supply chain management SCM practices involve a set of activities undertaken in an organization to promote effective management of its supply chain. This study targets the biscuits manufacturing sector in case of Pakistan. By taking the sample of biscuits industry operating in Hattar industrial estate, 200 managerial level employees give their responses regarding supply chain management practices, firm financial performances and competitive advantage. The data is analyzed through frequency and graphical analysis and then the regression analysis. The results indicate that there is positive impact of supply chain practices on the firm financial performances and competitive advantages. In the last, there are some recommendations for different stakeholders from the results of this study.
